Last week, I linked to a TEDx talk by Seth Priebatsch, founder of SCVNGR, where he presented four "game dynamics". I argued that these dynamics could be applied to building successful communities too. Now TechCrunch has published the "secret" playdeck of SCVNGR with 50 different game dynamics. And again, I believe many of these can be applied to build and maintain successful communities.
